Both El Rio and La Fuente are substance use disorder treatment programs that serve as an alternative to incarceration and helping men and women involved in the criminal justice system live drug free in their communities.

El Rio*
The program operates with unique sensitivity to the needs of people dealing with the complex issues of substance abuse and involvement with the criminal justice system. It offers treatment options, such as marijuana-specific treatment, trauma-informed care, gender-responsive treatment and integration of family, health education, GED, vocational training and employment services allows OTS to meet the changing needs of participants.

La Fuente*
Is a gender specific outpatient primary service program for women to address the varied challenges they may face upon reentry after incarceration. La Fuente offers outpatient substance use disorder treatment, access to primary healthcare, support for healthy relationships, vocational and educational assistance, as well as life-skills counseling. The program offers daycare and childcare services for eligible, participating women.

Eligibility: Anyone age 18+ with involvement in the criminal justice system.
Prospective participants do NOT need to provide proof of citizenship to enroll.
Insurance: Assistance with Medicaid and other public benefits, Medical evaluation and referral for health care.
