A Mayor’s Office program to Combat Domestic Violence. These FJCs provide criminal justice, civil legal and social services in one location. When visiting a Center, victims can meet with a prosecutor, speak with a trained counselor, and apply for housing and financial assistance in just one place. Each FJC has a Children’s Room where children ages 3 and up can play in a safe and supervised space while their parents receive services. Six City agencies.

Referral: Just walk in to the FJC Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. In addition, some special programs and appointments are held after 5:00 pm. However, as the FJCs are busy walk-in Centers, if it is your first visit, it is advisable to come in the morning if possible.
Eligibility: Any victim of domestic violence can utilize services at the FJCs, regardless of whether there is a pending criminal or civil case against the abuser and regardless of whether the victim has separated from their abusive partner.
